same problem here. Latest lubuntu amd64. This problem not only happens in firefox. Many apps have the same problem. For example, google-chrome will give segmentation fault. In lubuntu, right click desktop pager and then left click "Desktop Pager" Settings will give the same segmentation fault. Workaround: everything works with 'sudo'. For example: 'sudo firefox' works. 'sudo google-chrome' works.
