Joshua Thank you for your efforts and persistence in finding a workaround for this bug. I have recently bought an Acer V5-132 with Atheros AR9565 combined wireless/bluetooth adapter: wifi works, bluetooth fails to detect devices.
I tried your kernel on fresh 64-bit install on a usb stick. Results: mainline kernel fails to detect bluetooth devices, your kernel works beautifully! Trouble is, my installation on the V5's ssd -- which I have migrated with all my applications and settings from several earlier machines/Ubuntu versions -- is 32-bit. Have you any suggestions how I could incorporating your dkms kernel package into a 32-bit kernel? Is that possible? Should I bite the bullet and rebuild in 64-bit and use your workaround kernel to enable bluetooth?
