You have been subscribed to a public bug: When an app try to send a notification while notify-osd is running, and it specifies icon as a path to an SVGZ file, notify-osd doesn't display that icon. Though, if uncompressed SVG is passed, it works good.
On a side note, notification-daemon and GNOME Shell are affected by the same problem, see https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=648815 and https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=655403. I consider it a bug since SVGZ is part of the SVG specification. ** Affects: notify-osd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- SVGZ images are not supported https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/816902 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
