Sebastian, I looked now the proposed repository awailable version. With Orca screen reader I not see a menubar top of the window (I browsed the screen with flat review feature). Realy not seeing the menubar with GNOME Shell, or the Evince implemented menu bar not a traditional GTK.menubar style menu? With accelerators related I will be opening an another bug for evince package.
