Public bug reported: Testing Alpha-1 & Alpha-2 and daily images
When selecting encryption + lvm for the installation drive, the fs types and sizes are hard coded (and too small for /boot) Trying to use the parted fronted directly to set partition sizes and types correctly results in not beeing able to stack lvm on top if a luks partition as in the "type menu" of a luks partition there is no lvm option (the Debian d-i offers this) Please add the ability to stack lvm on an encrypted partition. Thank you. ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1275959 Title: ubiquity 2.17.4 doesn't allow lvm on top of an encrypted partition To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1275959/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
