I agree name-calling is not helpful, but I'd like to add myself to the ever-increasing number of folks who wish this to change.
If Shuttleworth and/or Ubuntu developers are marking this as "wont-fix" just to make sure they're not taking design cues from anything Windows- related as a pride thing, I'd say that is a misguided thought to say the least. But, out of respect for the Ubuntu team I will assume they are merely waiting for more feedback from the community. So, here it is.
