Hi Jeffrey, I upgraded from your ppa yesterday, and was able finally to launch and scan OK for which I am very grateful. However, gacan2pdf refused to quit after the scan was completed, and I had to end the process as usual. There is no error message when trying to close the GUI. Just stays open on the screen, and you can either minimize it or kill the process. Have not tried to close from the terminal yet. Is terminal command "gscan2pdf quit"?
Strangely enough, though, if you just launch the GUI and then close it (not from terminal) without having scanned anything, it quits normal. So, quiting problem occurs only after scanning. Please check and advise. This is all under 12.04 LTS x64.
