You have been subscribed to a public bug: During upgrade from Ubuntu 10.04 to 12.04, an unreadable Error message occurred.
However it was possible to copy the unreadable text and paste it into a shell. The text was: "An error occurred while loading or saving configuration information for evolution-alarm-notify. Some of your configuration settings may not work properly." Thus the text seems to be ok, but the font used to display the text seems to be unreadable. See screenshots. --- ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu17.1 Architecture: i386 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu-Netbook 10.04 "Lucid Lynx" - Beta i386 (20100318) MarkForUpload: True Package: evince 3.4.0-0ubuntu1.6 PackageArchitecture: i386 ProcCmdline: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-3.2.0-39-generic root=UUID=253f3545-e662-49e2-86b8-b76c764705f9 ro quiet splash vt.handoff=7 ProcEnviron: TERM=xterm PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-39.62-generic 3.2.39 Tags: precise running-unity Uname: Linux 3.2.0-39-generic i686 UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to precise on 2013-03-29 (0 days ago) UserGroups: adm admin cdrom dialout lpadmin plugdev sambashare ** Affects: debconf (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-collected precise running-unity -- While upgrading from 10.04 to 12.04, an Error message occurred with unreadable font https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1161811 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
