Public bug reported: New Thinkpad T61, running Gutsy with all upgrades to date (18 August).
Wired and wireless hardware was detected fine, can use KNetworkManager to browse networks and connect to them with either type of connection. But here at home, after I connect wirelessly it will transmit but not receive. Sometimes I can load one web page before it stops receiving. I thought it was a general wireless problem but I went to a school library recently and was able to use the connection with no hitches. The only difference I can imagine is that my home router is a Belkin N1, and this is some issue with the driver's N capabilities. I don't really know how to test this in more detail to see exactly what's happening, but I'd be willing to do so if someone would walk me through it. ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Intel 4965 A/G/N wireless works with G router, but not N router (Gutsy) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/133338 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
