Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mtink
I have an Espon Stylus C42UX, and I would like to use mtink or ttink to check the ink level or perform some maintenance tasks. However, while they work in an old Breezy Badger, both of them just get stuck in my new laptop with Feisty Fawn. For example, the command ttink -d /dev/usblp0 -s just loops forever without giving back any answer. Using another command instead of -s (for example -n) gives the same result. The behavior is the same if I run the program as root, or with mtink instead of ttink. Please note that the printer actually works, and I am also able to recover ink level status (and probably perform other tasks) with the package "escputil". ** Affects: mtink (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- mtink/ttink loops forever https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/133219 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
