Public bug reported: I've installed Cinnamon from the Ubuntu repository, not an external PPA. The desktop comes up and I select the menu. The menu is unusable and the entire desktop then hangs. The mouse moves (though I can't click on anything) and I'm able to do a CRTL/ALT/F3 type of command. The console login works fine and I can reboot.
I am using the Nvidia libraries.
