It seems that Adobe has no Linux versions of modern Reader: according to http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/tech-specs.html there are no X and XI for Linux. May be it is not safe to use 9.5.5 on Linux because of low security (http://www.h-online.com/open/news/item/Google-warns-of-using-Adobe-Reader-particularly-on-Linux-1668153.html).
I have had some problems with PDF Portfolio files. I viewed them in Adobe Reader X (or XI, I do not remember exactly) installed to Wine. Adobe Reader works normally on Wine. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1176131 Title: Please add Acroread package to the Partner repository for Ubuntu Saucy and Trusty To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/adobe-isv/+bug/1176131/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
