Based on this link ( http://forum.xda- developers.com/showthread.php?t=2514818 ), I think it's safe to say that it is indeed an ALC5642. Realtek does not yet have a datasheet on their site for that codec, so that may explain why it is unsupported at this time. I will ask on ALSA list for further clarification.
