I got rid of this after noticing that my desktop environment registered two screens although I only used one. After screen reconfiguration - switching the (actually not existing) screen off, screen lock behaviour was as it should be.
I'm using LTSP and the "bug" appeared on my thin clients, which are all using laptop hardware or are actual laptops and the second screen (auto configured) was called laptop. On the laptop client which actually uses the second screen, screen locking works as expected. In my case the error is only occurring when a second screen is auto detected but not actually used. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/886605 Title: Desktop, Launcher and menu bar still visible when screen locked To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz/+bug/886605/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
