I'm sorry Christopher M. Penalver, I can't help you out with this one at the moment. I am running Crunchbang, not Ubuntu right now, but another HP Mini 2133 user I know who installed Ubuntu 12.04 1 month ago didn't have sound and received the "hda intel: spurious response" error. Sound was working on 10.04 though.
I am using kernel 3.2, where the bug is known to be present, but I'm planning to upgrade it to at least 3.10 and see if I still face the same problem. Thank you so much for effort. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/536699 Title: [Intel D945GCLF] "hda-intel spurious response" messages and intermittent GDM startup To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/536699/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
