Well, I had looked on the internet for solutions and found some like model=asus-mode1 etc. I tried most of those but nothing helped. The model=auto probe_mask=1 is the last one I tried and as it didn't make any difference, I haven't deleted it (yet).
Muting one channel does not help, trying to record in mono (in audacity) does not help (and wouldn't work in skype anyway). Recording from line- in has the same noise, too. Direct recording with arecord does work, though. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1259070 Title: N90SV, Realtek ALC663, Mic, Internal Underruns, dropouts or crackling sound To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/1259070/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
