Piero Bonatti, thank you for the requested information. It would appear (first time I've encountered it) that the BIOS update A06 and A05 for the 10z model would only work in a 32-bit environment. So, let this be skipped for now.
Despite this, could you please confirm this issue exists with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ .
