You can boot with the hw-detect/start_pcmcia=false boot parameter. This can be done by entering the letter 'e' at the GRUB menu, then adding hw-detect/start_pcmcia=false to the boot cmd line.
Another thing you can do is to edit the /etc/default/grub line and add that parameter to: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT The line could then look like: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=" hw-detect/start_pcmcia=false" After editing the /etc/default/grub file, you need to run: 'sudo update- grub' then reboot. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1237336 Title: linux-image-3.11.0-12-generic doesn't boot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1237336/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
