Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ssl-cert
# make-ssl-cert /usr/share/ssl-cert/ssleay.cnf /etc/apache2/ssl/apache.pem If the ssl sub-directory in /etc/apache2 does not exist, and you try to create the certificate, everything appears to have gone OK, but the file is never written to disk. This could be considered a bug or an enhancement. Either way, at least a warning should appear. Does make- ssl-cert not check for errors when writing the file out to disk? ** Affects: ssl-cert (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Summary changed: - make-ssl-cert does not produce any warnings on cert creation if subdirectory is non-existant + make-ssl-cert does not produce any warnings on cert creation if file fails to be written -- make-ssl-cert does not produce any warnings on cert creation if file fails to be written https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/132714 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
