Public bug reported: This is a display bug: I was running a game , and it was using 1,3 GB of RSS. I started lxtask and it displayed correctly the game was using 1,3 GB. However, then I loaded a more complex level in my game and I think it was consuming about 3,2 GB (because I was watching it as it was growing) of RSS. But lxtask "glitched" and showed the game was using 16777216 TB (tera bytes) of RSS. It was the only number "wrong".
Additional info: my processor is intel i7 (x86_64) and I'm using lubuntu in 32bit. I was running a steam game, with the optirun -b primus %command% parameter. lsb_release -rd prints: Description: Ubuntu 13.04 Release: 13.04 lxtask: Installed: 0.1.4-3ubuntu1 Candidate: 0.1.4-3ubuntu1 Version table: *** 0.1.4-3ubuntu1 0 500 http://ar.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ raring/universe i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.04 Package: lxtask 0.1.4-3ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.8.0-33.48-generic 3.8.13.11 Uname: Linux 3.8.0-33-generic i686 ApportVersion: 2.9.2-0ubuntu8.5 Architecture: i386 Date: Fri Nov 29 23:28:51 2013 InstallationDate: Installed on 2013-10-26 (34 days ago) InstallationMedia: Lubuntu 13.04 "Raring Ringtail" - Release i386 (20130423.1) MarkForUpload: True SourcePackage: lxtask UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: lxtask (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 lubuntu lxtask raring ** Attachment added: "screenshot" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1256467/+attachment/3920143/+files/mem%20error.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1256467 Title: lxtask says a process uses 16777216 TB of "RSS" (memory) instead of 3,3 GB (aprox.)
