Hi Christopher. I tend to say yes. It is not consistently reproducible, i.e. there is days when it works, others when it doesn't.
Status quo: I set my router to BG band a few days ago because I had the above described problems constantly. Upon receiving your question I turned on (BG)N again and the problem came back, while on devices uncapable of N I get decent speed and no problems. I cannot make out the reason for it working one day and the other not. I will get back to you when I have time for testing the kernel from comment #5. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1250949 Title: 8086:4236 [Lenovo ThinkPad X200] Slow WiFi with Intel 5300 on N networks To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1250949/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
