Attachmennt from comment #5 works like a charm. Friendly notice: 1) using PCManFM, open /usr/bin/. now open path as root, and rename /usr/bin/lxsession-default to /usr/bin/lxsession-default.old
2) download the attachment to your desktop. in my case, the attachment is called lxsession-default.txt. rename to lxsession-default 3) copy lxsession-default from the desktop into /usr/bin/ as root using PCManFM; 4) still as root, right click at lxsession-default file, properties and change the permissions to execute to anyone. now you're good to go and Print Screen Key works as expected. Thank you for your support Jörn! PS: alt+ Print Screen Key is not working as expected though. in this case, the workaround from #4 would do the trick. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1233860 Title: Print Screen Key does nothing when pressed and scrot works ONLY from LXTerminal To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lubuntu-default-settings/+bug/1233860/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
