Public bug reported: In a freshly installed Ubuntu 13.10 Apport crash reports are popping up all the time. It's becoming increasingly difficult to use the OS, as I have to close tons of windows spawned by Apport.
The current behaviour is so annoying that many users simply remove or disable Apport completely, as seen here: http://www.webupd8.org/2012/06/how-to-get-rid-of-internal-system- error.html Expected behaviour - when the first crash happens (or during OS installation), ask the user whether or not he wants to help Ubuntu development by sending anonymous bug reports. If he clicks yes, go on and report as many crash reports for as many applications as you want *in the background, without any GUI interference*. If the user said no, don't report anything, disable Apport.
