I upgraded the BIOS from A14 to A16, and it still behaves the same way. $ sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date A16 09/09/2013
Here's how it goes: I tell it to suspend and it does, and the power light flashes. I press the space bar, and then the power light turns off. A second or so later, it flashes once, and then it's off again. A few seconds later, it boots again starting with the "BIOS" screen. The "BIOS" is set to be pure UEFI with no legacy drivers. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1227678 Title: [Dell Inc.
