Dear Christopher, The upstream post was sent to the platform-driver-x86 list: http://article.gmane.org/gmane.linux.drivers.platform.x86.devel/4772/ The maintainer of the regression commit answered he will look into the issue a few weeks ago. Since then, I have not read anything. Perhaps I did something wrong? Please advice. I tested the two most recent mainline kernels: 3.12.0-031200rc7-generic and 3.12.0-031200-generic. Both with negative results, the touchpad issue remains. How should we proceed now? Please advice.
