It's not an issue. Go and Gio are both correct, and Gio is more correct

1 Gibio Octet = 1 073 741 824 octets
1 Giga Octet = 1 000 000 000 octets
The CEI convention asked us to use Gibio instead of Giga. Giga is an adaptation
of classic french system to computers.
As explained in wikipedia's article Giga is misused when applied to computers.
