If you look at http://packages.ubuntu.com/lucid/bcmwl-kernel-source, you'll notice that this package is for 802.11 wireless cards that have Broadcom's architecture. The important thing to note about this package is that it only supports certain broadcom cards, but any card that internally says it is broadcom makes this driver available. My recommendation if this kernel is not building, is to uninstall it:
[code]sudo apt-get remove bcmwl-kernel-source[\code] Once you do that, I would do a search for your wireless card and your graphics card to see what you need to install the correct drivers for them. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1245049 Title: bcmwl-kernel-source 6.20.155.1+bdcom-0ubuntu6: bcmwl kernel module failed to build To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bcmwl/+bug/1245049/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
