Public bug reported:

I would like version 2.8.0 to be synced in Ubuntu {R, S, T}. I have
built and tested the library with a physical robot. I'm still new to
the whole package syncing process, so any tips would be appreciated. I
am one of the upstream maintainers for this package.

Associated Package Set:
http://packages.debian.org/jessie/libaria2
http://packages.debian.org/jessie/libaria-dev
http://packages.debian.org/jessie/libaria-dev-doc
http://packages.debian.org/python-ariapy

There appears to have been one ubuntu change for the previous upstream version:
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-branches/ubuntu/trusty/libaria/trusty/revision/5

I believe that the issue has been fixed upstream and the ubuntu patch can be
dropped (the following genereates no errors):
$ g++ -g -O2 -fstack-protector --param=ssp-buffer-size=4 -Wformat
-Werror=format-security -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 -fPIC -g -Wall -D_REENTRANT
-fno-exceptions  -DFOR_ARIA -Iinclude utils/genCommandLineOptionDocs.cpp -o
utils/genCommandLineOptionDocs -Wl,-Bsymbolic-functions -Wl,-z,relro -Llib
-lAria -lpthread -ldl -lrt
$
