Public bug reported:

Running xsane in Gutsy it crashes immediately with

(xsane:7483): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_get_style: assertion
`GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed

(xsane:7483): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_style_copy: assertion `GTK_IS_STYLE (style)'
failed
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

This only happens if the scanner (HP DJ F 380) is connected. Otherwise
xsane does not crash.

This seems to be related to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/128212
The workaround described in
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=515971&highlight=acroread+GTK_IS_WIDGET
also works for xsane. The bug might thus be for libgtk and not for xsane at
all... If someone knows please change it accordingly.

** Affects: xsane (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
