ldm migth be ok. Atleast there is some files in ltsp chroot. In the clear install there is _no_ lts.conf. Ading one with SCREEN_xx = (something) leads to this kind of bug if (something) is startx or nonworking shell. Removing this directive from lts.conf gives ubuntu login screen witch has working keyboard. but entering username/pass gives only reloading of , what i think is, ldm. Removing lts.conf gives no chanege. Pressing Alt-F1 for shell an trying to login gives "Login incorect".
I think that xubuntu is total mess. Also I think that tweaking one software packeg is ok if you write down some where what you have changed. And I mean somewhere easy to find, no in some chanege log in some kind of mailing list. Evreting else makes what you've done non-free software. -- After loading X on terminal keboard hangs https://launchpad.net/bugs/58981 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
