Public bug reported: Ubuntu 13.10 (saucy) has switched to Apache 2.4, which introduces a new syntax for access permission.
However, /etc/mediawiki/apache.conf in the current mediawiki (1:1.19.8+dfsg-1) in saucy does not yet cater to the new syntax, causing a "403: Forbidden" error in the end-user's browser, and "AH01630: client denied by server configuration" in /var/log/apache2/error.log. This bug was earlier reported in Debian Bug#723620: http://bugs.debian.org/723620 and was fixed in the upload of mediawiki (1:1.19.8+dfsg-2) on September 24, 2013.
