Hi Steve, thanks for having a look at this issue. I just did two tests: 1) Ubuntu 12.04 Desktop with NetworkManager: Everything works as expected, ssh starts only once 2) Ubuntu 12.04.2 Server without NetworkManager, /etc/network/interfaces only configures lo and eth0 with dhcp (server is a fresh minimal installation, just installed openssh-server additionally) : Similar behavior as in my original report.
I'll attach /var/log/dmesg with "--verbose" enabled. ** Attachment added: "/var/log/dmesg" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/upstart/+bug/1158708/+attachment/3864598/+files/var_log_dmesg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1158708 Title: Services start/stop multiple times during boot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/upstart/+bug/1158708/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
