Doing dpkg-reconfigure wireshark-common didn't fix it for me (Wireshark
told me Couldn't run /usr/bin/dumpcap in child process: Permission
denied). Following the instructions at
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2039978&p=12161999#post12161999
did fix it.
