Conexant chip itself has no such a feature, and the driver doesn't change the power state by itself. Takashi This is the reply from the author 8 months back. I forgot to post his reply here. Now I realize that it shouldn't be a Lenovo firmware issue because a few Toshiba laptops also affected by the same bug.
