After two days of testing Saucy with 3.11.0-8 kernel the behaviour is the following:
Sometimes the touchpad works properly by default after a fresh boot. In this case it works coninuatively for hours (possibly it works permanently). Sometimes the touchpad does not work by default after a fresh boot (is completely inactive). In this case the touchpad is disabled, and it doesn't even activate with the relative Fn key. In this second case I try to reboot until, after about three reboots, it works by default. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1197491 Title: [DELL Inspiron 15z 5523] touchpad not recognised To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1197491/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
