I don't know if Ubuntu's CD allows you to do this.

You can build a package with debug information enabled in Debian (or I can 
build it for you, just tell me the version you're using), 
and then you can get a backtrace of the crash by running gnomebaker under gdb.

To build the package with debug info enabled, just do this:

export DEB_BUILD_OPTION=nostrip,noopt
apt-get build-dep gnomebaker
fakeroot apt-get source -b gnomebaker
