Public bug reported: Defaut .bashrc for Ubuntu 13.04 gives a few errors. Bash displays ": command not found" and "bash: ... end of file at ..." a few times when start.
Things to fix: * Remove $debian_chroot (/etc/debian_chroot doesn't exist). * Remove DOS line endings. * Use "[[ $- = *i* ]] || return" for interactivity check. I attached my .bashrc with fix. ** Affects: bash (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Patch added: ".bashrc" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1225673/+attachment/3822049/+files/.bashrc -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1225673 Title: .bashrc for Ubuntu 13.04 is wrong To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bash/+bug/1225673/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
