I setup a netconsole. It captured things like connect/disconnect usb device, or closing the laptop display and using external monitor. Also when the system reboots it captures log entries. But in the moment the system freezes (about 4 h after boot) again nothing was captured. So far I understand, that when my system freezes nothing can be logged or debugged. And for that reason I try since Januar 2013 every new kernel version published on http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/ And I also tested a lot of different kernel boot options. all without any effect :-(
