You can see if this a beryl or ubuntu bug by choosing another window manager
from the beryl manager menu.
I marked your bug report as incomplete because you didn't gave any version
numbers.
Also beryl is discontinued, you can try compiz-fusion and see if you can
reproduce the bug. I cant reproduce your bug running feisty and compiz-fusion.
