Public bug reported: Have a valid IPv6 network that works with precise using both /etc/network/interfaces and network-manager (with caveats about known bugs wrt default routes in ipv6 in precise) Precise hosts get their addresses using dhclient, and the ifup or whatever completes and returns.
In Saucy, dhclient -6 just hangs and never returns.... Was hoping to upgrade to get rid of IPv6 bugs, but it's actually worse. ** Affects: isc-dhcp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1220495 Title: dhclient -6 hangs... regression from precise To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/isc-dhcp/+bug/1220495/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
