While it doesn't bother me much that code isn't what we'd all like it to be when we get it, what troubles me if darned near EVERY 12.0.4 document that is written or referenced as a help file starts with "OPEN NETWORK MANAGER".
There were a number of things that 12.0.4 could do in a LTS model so I jumped in. I'll stay because I like solving problems.
