I too updated to 13.04 from 12.10 and get this error upon starting
Thunderbird for the first time.

"There was a problem opening the address book "Contacts" - the message
returned was: Cannot open book:
GDBus.Error:org.gnome.OnlineAccounts.Error.NotAuthorized: Did not find
password with username `<email address>' in credentials".

An error is also found in syslog:
"goa[3396]: /org/gnome/OnlineAccounts/Accounts/account_<number>: Setting
AttentionNeeded to TRUE because EnsureCredentials() failed with: Did not find
password with username `<email address>' in credentials (goa-error-quark, 4)
[goadaemon.c:1248, ensure_credentials_cb()]"

So it has something to do with the goa-daemon (the GNOME Online Accounts
Daemon)
