I've logged out and logged back in. Speakers are unmuted and 106 sound
card is selected for output.

Start up Clementine, and play an old mp3 file that was sampled at 44100
(that was cut from a CD) - song plays as expected, PulseAudio doesn't
die.

Select a few more random songs...eventually sound stops.

>From what I've read, pulseaudio does the conversion from 44100 to 48000
before it gets anywhere near the sound card. The same problem exists
regardless of which music player I'm ussing (Clementine, RhythmBox or
Amarok) so the issue would seem to be either with PulseAudio or Alsa.
Since its the PulseAudio daemon that dies, it leads to me to conclude
the issue is indeed with PulseAudio.
