Semi-newbie here, with a q190, dual boot (win8 and precise), grub working (finally!), wired working, WIFI NOT working.
I updated the kernel following these instructions : http://www.liberiangeek.net/2013/07/upgrade-to-linux-kernel-3-10-latest- to-resolve-some-issues-in-ubuntu/ Now i have a 3.10 kernel but the wireless is still not recognized ("Additional Drivers" app returns a "No proprietary drivers..." message). Where else can I look? Thank you in advance. dumps below: xxx@Lenovo:~$ uname -a Linux Lenovo 3.10.1-031001-generic #201307131550 SMP Sat Jul 13 19:51:31 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux xxx@Lenovo:~$ cat
