The package from the official ubuntu archives just came in and is installed (2.2.1 ubuntu feisty). - The secondary bug is still present.
It is still not possible to change any window or part of a window in its height. (Width works now) As an addition it is not possible anymore to change for example to another view in the information window module because the lower buttons are not reachable.
