Public bug reported:

Grub could not install a bootloader during Install of amd64 version of
Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS 64bit. Did not attempt it on other partitions (am not
sure that I could). Install ended. Was issued a warning that my system
may not boot. Am a novice with respect to Linux/Ubuntu.
