Binary package hint: update-manager

Performed and upgrade from feisty to gutsy Alpha 2.

I did the following command:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ update-manager -d
extracting '/tmp/tmpx-TswG/gutsy.tar.gz'
authenticate '/tmp/tmpx-TswG/gutsy.tar.gz' against 
'/tmp/tmpx-TswG/gutsy.tar.gz.gpg' 
could not send the dbus Inhibit signal: global name 'dbus' is not defined


The upgrade proceeded.  Downloaded the packages, installed the upgrades, then 
just before going to the cleaning up got the following message on the terminal 
screen of update-manager:


Setting up tomboy (0.7.2-0ubuntu1) ...

Errors were encountered while processing:
 smartmontools
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "logging/__init__.py", line 753, in emit
  File "logging/__init__.py", line 731, in flush
IOError: [Errno 9] Bad file descriptor
