Actually the package exists only in lucid (10.04) and precise (12.04) http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=xserver-xorg-video- displaylink&searchon=names&suite=all§ion=all
The funny thing is, it just hardly work on my precise, because I use xserver-xorg-*-lts-quantal packages (they come from the precise-updates or the precise-backports repository, I don't use any related non Ubuntu repository), and because no xserver-xorg-video-displaylink in quantal (12.10) no backport package for that. So finally if I want to use xserver-xorg-video-displaylink I have to downgrade my xserver-xorg-* packages. ** Summary changed: - xserver-xorg-video-displaylink + xserver-xorg-video-displaylink package missing -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1180199 Title: xserver-xorg-video-displaylink package missing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-displaylink/+bug/1180199/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
