Hi I have upgrade my ubuntu from 6.06 to 6.10 en then from 6.10 to 7.04
trying to solve the problem with the external microphone.
I try to change the audio preferences but nothing...
It's very strange because in the same device the audio work but the
microphone not work.
When I open gnome-sound-controller there no problem.
When I try to register sound this error occour:

When I open the audio preferences I find this elements:
- Principal
- PCM
- LineIn
- IEC958
- Ext Mic
- Int Mic
- IntMic
I don't understand which of line in (lineIn, Ext Mic, IntMic, Int Mic)
use to register sound or talk by voip software.
