The fix referenced by comment #7 is https://www.gitorious.org/procps/procps/commit/7933435584aa1fd75460f4c7715a3d4855d97c1c Which is essentially the same fix as is attached in comment #3.
As for comment #8, I'd have to look at the problem more closely. Grzegorz, perhaps you could put together a ppa with your fix such that others could try out your fix and verify it? Additionally you might consider submitting your fix to the procps mainstream. Getting it into mainstream would make it a ton easier to get it into Ubuntu. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1150413 Title: Cannot allocate memory if process owned by user with large number of groups To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/procps/+bug/1150413/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
